Viviana Volpicella: On looking forward to 2013

Posted on December 10 2012

To celebrate the incredible year that 2012 turned out to be and to welcome the promise that 2013 holds, I reached out to some of the women who inspire me the most to find out their thoughts on 2012 and goals for 2013. Viviana is my first guest. To find out what 2012 taught her and to see some more of her stylish looks…

What did 2012 teach you? Not to give up your dreams.

A song that describes your 2012. Goodnight Tonight by Paul McCartney & Wings (1979).

Three words you would like to use more often in the new year. Thank you, sorry, smile.

One person you would like to thank while 2012 is still here. Anna Dello Russo, for everything she has taught me.

Someone you would like to meet in 2013. Barack Obama.

A trip you will take in the new year. Cuba, I’ve never been there before.

The first piece you will add to your closet in the new year. A pair of Fendi SS13 shoes.

Your top project for 2013. Collaborating with young Italian designers and growing together.

What would you like to improve about yourself in the new year? I would like to commit myself to cooking, doing yoga and boosting my positive energy.

Your first e-mail or text of the new year. Who are you writing it to? To those who are far away.

The dish that won’t be missing from your new year’s table. Cartellate (traditional sweets from Bari).

The soundtrack to your new year. The Boss by Diana Ross, Il tempo Non Inganna by Malika Ayane, Last Christmas by Wham.
