Tile Prints – 9 bold motifs to wear now

Posted on November 19 2013

Hey there Pretty Birds,

We were just talking about some of our favorite recent runway trends when our conversation turned to tile prints and the season’s best patterned pieces.

Grid-like, geometric, fragmented and graphic repetitions of eye-catching motifs that historically have graced the walls of grand palaces, and more recently the walls floors of ours homes, applied generously in all sorts of fun variations to tops, bottoms, dresses and must have accessories like Paula Cademartori’s luxe handbags and next season’s beautiful Sergio Rossi’s SS14 open-toe booties whose pattern was inspired by the work of italian architect Gio Ponti. Spectacular! So as always, we dove into my archive of pictures and were inspired by how the mood was styled on the streets during fashion month. And since it’s $500 Wednesday, here is a list of 9 “tiled” items to wear now. Yes, we were really busy, anything for fashion and our readers (Smile). Do you love “tile” dressing? Drop us a line with your favorite items.
