Snow Polo World Tour: Maserati Takes Home the Trophy by Roki Prunali
Every winter that passes I try with all my might to make it to the Polo Tour in St. Moritz, and this year the tour has come and gone without me spectating the gorgeous horses (and players). Don’t worry Pretty Birds we still got you covered. This past weekend 4 teams battled it out in the picturesque city with almost 13,000 spectators. Team Maserati was able to defeat team Cartier to take home the trophy of the Snow Polo World Cup.
Wait did we fail to mention that the game was held on the frozen lake of St. Moritz? The days are warm up there and there was much worry about whether the tour would be able to take place, but the players and horses battled it out with the perfect backdrop. And don’t think for one second the horses weren’t dressed as elegant as the players. In collaboration with La Martina, Maserati players and horses were dressed to the nine. We wouldn’t expect anything less would we?
