Dear Pretty Birds,

On days when things simply seem to be going too fast and appointments seem to be booked back to back leaving us no me-time, eating a healthy, balanced meal can be quite the challenge. Clearly, we all love good food that is natural and makes us feel good about ourselves. Unfortunately, our demanding jobs seem to disagree with us, tempting us with last-minute sandwiches and snacks on the fly. There is, however, a solution to all of this, and I call it the “Pret-à-Porter Snack.” What is a Pret-à-Porter Snack, you ask? It’s a combination of super foods, enriched with a bit of love and flavor. If you want the details, read the list of ingredients below and you’ll gain a better understanding of the satisfying power and perfect balance between flavor and health this little treat contains.

Ingredients for 20 Portions:

-100gr of (raw) Almonds

-200gr of (raw) Cashews

-50gr of Chia seeds

-50gr of Linen seeds

-200gr of Dates

-100gr of dried Apricots

-50gr of Goji berries

-30gr of 85% Dark Chocolate

Preparing this snack is super easy and consists of simply combining all the ingredients together in a blender and blending until you obtain a homogeneous mixture that is thick and compact. For those of you who love crunchiness, blend the mixture a little less and the deal is done! Creativity comes first and taste will skyrocket by adding hazelnut crumbs, pistachios, coconut flakes and cocoa powder. Everything can be kept in the fridge until you are ready to dive into it. My darling Pretty Birds, the proof is in the pudding!
