I wanted to share with you pretty birds some juices I adore and try to integrate into my daily diet. If you are feeling in need of taking a break to reset and want to do a one-day juice cleanse, these five juices can substitute your meals for the day. Drink up pretty birds!

The Green Monster: packing in the nutrients

People new to juicing are normally more hesitant of the green juices, but it is so power packed with nutrients, vitamins and minerals that it is a must in the juicing world. It is best to drink your green juice in the morning because it will give you that boost to start your day.

2 Golden Delicious Apples

1 Stick of Celery

1 Hefty Handful of Spinach

1 Hefty Handful of Kale

1 Lime (peeled)

½ Cucumber

1 Small Chunk of Broccoli

½ Avocado

Juice the apples, celery, spinach, kale, lime, cucumber and broccoli. Quick tip: to make sure you don’t jam your juicer, pack your kale and spinach in between your apples or cucumber. Place the juice in a blender and add the avocado. I always add Spirulina, which is one of the most powerful superfoods out there, to give me that extra burst of energy.

Aerobic Angel: the smoothie for aerobic junkies

This smoothie is perfect for balancing and preparing our bodies for strenuous workouts. Beetroot is great for helping with oxygen intake and avocado provides a source of good fat that aids with our long-distance running. Avocado is most beneficial if eaten more than 2 hours before your run. No doubt we will be drinking this before our Nike Women 10K.

3 Golden Delicious Apples

2 Sticks of Celery

1 Raw Beetroot (medium)

1 Lime (peeled)

2 Slices of Pineapple

1 Banana (peeled)

1 Avocado

Juice the apples, celery, beetroot, lime, pineapple, and cucumber. Add the banana and avocado into the blender with the juice.

Sweet Bliss: the vitamin packed juice

We all know that oranges are a great source of Vitamin C, but did you know that most of the nutrients of the orange is found in the pith. So make sure to leave as much pith as possible when you peel your orange. Our other orange friend, carrots are filled with tons of vitamins and minerals and is one of the best sources of beta-carotene. Ginger cleanses us out with its amazing antiseptic powers.

2 Oranges (peeled)

2 Carrots

1 Beetroot (medium)

1 Inch Chunk of Ginger

Juice the oranges, carrots, beetroot and ginger.

Exotic Tonic: the skin smoothie

I know what you are thinking, this sounds like it should be a daiquiri and has little nutritional value, but in reality, mango is rich in nutrients. Mangoes are crucial for your vision and your beloved skin.

½ Mango (peeled)

¼ Pineapple

1 Orange (peeled)

1 Handful of Strawberries

Juice the mango, pineapple, and orange. Blend the strawberries with the juice.

Flirty Mojito: your secret mocktail

I know the hardest part with juicing is when you want to go out and have a drink with your friends. Here is the solution to drinking with the gang but secretly enjoying a non alcoholic super juice.

1 Lime (peeled)

4 Handfuls Green Seedless Grapes

2 Handfuls of Mint Leaves

Juice the lime, grapes and mint leaves. To make it look more like a cocktail add fresh leaves in your glass with ice.
