Jonathan Saunders Announced as Chief Creative Officer of Diane Von Furstenburg by Roki Prunali
Jonathan Saunders was announced Chief Creative Officer of the iconic brand Diane Von Furstenburg. With all the departures happening, it is a breath of fresh air to see someone settling in and not to mention a great fit. Just five months after closing his own label, he has found his spot with DVF. Saunders will head the overall creative direction of the brand, but will report to chief executive Paolo Riva.
“Jonathan’s extraordinary passion for colours and prints, his effortless designs, and his desire to make women feel beautiful make him the perfect creative force to lead DVF into the future,” says Diane Von Furstenburg. “I could not have found a cooler, more intelligent designer and I cannot wait to watch him shine as our chief creative officer.”
We are looking forward to many more announcements, giving us a sigh of relief to fill the big shoes of all those brands without a creative directors. Ahem, maybe we will see in the near future Raf Simons at Calvin Klein. Who knows?
