Hey there Pretty Birds,
Here’s a good piece of news that got us all excited this weekend: Alexander Wang will be the next designer to collaborate with H&M.
Wang, who launched his own label in 2005 and is the creative director of Balenciaga from December 2012, announced the news via his Instagram account last Saturday, during an event at Coachella Music Festival. He is the first US designer to sign a capsule for the fast retail giant.
The collection, that will comprise apparel and accessories for both men and women, as well as lifestyle products, will be available in 250 stores worldwide and online from November 6th, 2014. Wang follows the likes of Isabel Marant, Versace, Marni and Maison Martin Margiela (to name a few), that have created capsule collections for H&M in the past. We’re thrilled to bits and very looking forward to see how he’ll work his urban-cool style in the staples he’ll create for the the brand!
