Champagne Cocktail Recipes by Roki Prunali and Kristi Veliaj
Let’s be real, who doesn’t like the bubbly? Except for my husband who is allergic to wine, I have still to meet someone who truly dislikes champagne. It serves as a great aperitif and is sure to lift your spirits, really you can’t go wrong. So that is why I am sharing with you Pretty Birds a couple yummy drink recipes with the base being our best friend, champagne.
Sparkling Ginger, Pear and Cranberry Cocktail
2 tablespoons of dry cranberries
1 pear (choose whatever is in season)
2 tablespoons of finely grated fresh ginger
½ cup of organic pear nectar
32 ounces of prosecco
8 small sprigs of fresh rosemary
Put the cranberries in a small bowl and add 2 tablespoons of warm water and let them soak for about 15 minutes. Drain, pat dry and refrigerate until serving.
Mix ½ cup of pear nectar and ¼ tablespoon of ginger to each glass. Thinly slice the pear and add it and a few chilled cranberries to each glass. Pour the prosecco until each glass is full. Garnish with rosemary.
