The red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival is one of the most important of the year, one that is truly packed full of stars. The ATPB Team has selected for you the best looks of this year’s edition: what do you think?
White as a signature for Atelier Versace, chosen by two beauties Doutzen Kroes and Karlie Kloss. Cut-out details highlight the strong sex appeal of both looks.
White and pink for Angelababy’s Christian Dior gown (did you notice the perfect match with her pink lipstick?), while Fan Bingbing wears Ralph & Russo Couture, which would have been spot-on for the recent Met Ball (she is wonderful though!). Elegance to the max for the gown wrapped around Aymeline Valade’s model bod – the dress is by Ulyana Sergeenko). The true queen of Cannes 2015 however is Lupita Nyong’o, who chose a One of a kind floor-length Gucci gown in jade plissé chiffon with a cape embroidered with crystals and hand-painted powder-pink silk flowers.
Among her recent red carpet looks this is by far the best: Julianne Moore wears a definitely chic Armani Privé gown. A “brilliant” look by Elie Saab Couture for Naomi Watts, who ditches her usual darker palette for a lighter grey color. Glitter effect also for Byelorussian supermodel Tanya Dziahileva, who chooses a Georges Obeika dress in a delicate hue. Metallic mania for Liya Kebede‘s Louis Vuitton minidress.
Lace & embroidery
Pink and black macramé with flower embroidery and ostrich feathers for Katrina Kaif, the new testimonial for L’Oréal Paris, in Oscar de la Renta.
Powder pink for Clotilde Courau, in a minimal Valentino gown with a sophisticated finish. High glamour for Sienna Miller‘s blue Lanvin.
Total red for Natalie Portman in Dior. Color blocking for Isabella Rossellini in Stella McCartney.
A beautiful ombre effect for the Elie Saab gown worn by Belgian actress Marie Gillain.
