Hi there Pretty Birds!
Autumn’s chilly weather has officially arrived here in Milan, hi-lighted in neon ice-blue after a notable drop in temperature brought on by last night’s strong stormy winds, a clear and welcomed signal that it’s time to pick up a good transitional body cream or lotion.
I personally noticed a change in my skin after Paris fashion week. My hands started to look and feel really dry and my skin needed a second dose of moisture just hours after my morning shower. I adore Tata Harper’s Revitalizing Body Oil straight out of the shower, but I’ve noticed that I sometimes need a little more coverage during the cooler months. I spoke to my girls here at the ATPB headquarters (yes, I finally have a team and you’ll meet them very soon) and we started to think about transitional lotions, the kind you use when your skin starts to get dry in October, but when it’s still too early to whip out that rich shea butter that you use in December. We had a little brainstorm and here are some suggestions for you! Try them out this weekend!
Kiehl’s – Nashi blossom Pink Grapefruit Body Lotion
An aromatic blend with hints of ginger, soy milk and white musk.
Ren – Moroccan Rose Otto Body Lotion
With bio extracts from Damask Rose petals and Rosehip seed oil.
Origins – Ginger Soufflé Whipped Body Cream
A ginger blend with citrusy-crisp notes of lemon.
Hino – Renaissance Body Cream (the best, according to our local pharamcist)
With extracts from Sierra Redwood, Black Currant and Lemon and Provitamin B5 for skin regeneration.
Other products you might like:
Fresh – Sugar Lemon body lotion
With Sugar and Mango seed oil.
